Hippolyta gets a Shocking experience
Hippolyta foolishly entered Act 1 Hell at around clvl 65, but had no trouble until after dispatching Blood Raven. In fact she was getting a bit cocky.
“Dunno why they call this hell. OK, Chalan, since we’re here let’s quickly swing through the Crypt and Mausoleum. They’re always a cakewalk and there’s a fair amount of loot to be had.”
Big mistake. Big, big mistake. Huge.
First thing they met in the Crypt was a double boss pack of skellies, one with Holy Freeze and one with Holy Shock.
As Hippolyta’s resists were all markedly negative, Chalan wasn’t going to be getting any purples. To add insult to injury, the Holy Freezer™ also sported Stone Skin, Teleportation, PI and LI.
Hippolyta was too busy to notice what other attributes the Holy Shocker™ had. She nearly emptied her belt before the rate at which her decoys and valks were going down clued her that she wasn’t going to win this one.
Kashya was even more cutting than usual.
